Three veterans from Halo developer Bungie have left and put together Moonshot Games, and they’ll be bringing us high-quality downloadable videogame titles in the future.
Moonshot is based in Seattle and Boston with Michel Bastien, Damian Isla and Rob Stokes in the top spots of Managing Director, Director of Technology and Creative Director respectively.
Top boss Bastien was the project lead for Halo 2 and 3 while Stokes was responsible for mission designs in the Halo series, so I guess you could blame him for the library flood?
”Led by a small team of experienced industry veterans, Moonshot is pledged to the exploration and development of high-quality downloadable games. Their maiden flight is set to establish a permanent presence on this exciting new world in the gaming universe,” blurbs the website.
Their first videogame project will remain ”top secret” but ”all the necessary research, planning, and prototyping are already well underway.” Let’s hope they don’t burn up on re-entry.
