The upcoming injection of social networking to Xbox Live is scheduled for November 17th, or at least it was according to the UK version of the Xbox Live site. It’s been removed.
It clearly said the service ”launches 17th November 2009” for UK users, but it’s been changed to ”Autumn 2009.” A public beta is expected the ”middle-towards-end” of October.
The UK site was altered by Microsoft, but Joystiq managed to grab some screens of the November date before the corporate giant went all Nixon/Watergate on us.
Microsoft’s Jennifer Puzio-Brookes told MTV Multiplayer that a public beta for the social networks will start ”middle-towards-end of October,” only for Gold Live members.
