Capcom might release the extra content included in the Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition for the Xbox 360, though it would most likely be in the form of DLC and not on a disc.
The Alternative version is designed to capitalise on the PS3 motion tech due in the spring, but it also adds the original Resident Evil mansion in a playable sequence, not just a flashback.
Apparently Capcom does plan on unleashing the extra content, which is revealed as the mansion, for Xbox 360 gamers as well. When it does arrive though it will be delivered via a ”different format,” reports Japanese site Dengeki Online, meaning DLC over Xbox Live.
There’s no telling if the Alternative Edition could support Project Natal at all given Microsoft’s vague fall 2010 window. It may just be some extra fun for the standard pad for Xbox 360.
