Borderlands has had three pieces release so far with each selling well. Developer Gearbox is also hard at work for Sega’s Aliens game.
”We’ll continue to support the title with more digital content,” said CEO Ben Feder of Take-Two, reports VG247. Its latest addition, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, ”was best scoring and highest reviewed Borderlands DLC so far”, he added.
Previous DLC treats were ‘The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned’ and ‘Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot’. Borderlands has sold over 2 million copies to date, and is still going strong.
Gearbox Software has Aliens: Colonial Marines in their pipeline for publisher Sega, which is something they’re likely to concentrate on more now - though they’re likely very eager to get back to their own new IP creation for more digital content.
