Joe Madureira is creative director at Vigil, and says he’d be ”surprised” if nothing came of it. Darksiders is out this week for Xbox 360 and PS3.
“We’ve gotten some interest from Hollywood, we’ve talked about doing a comic series,” said comic man and Vigil executive Joe Madureira, speaking with VG247.
”At least a couple of those things have to happen, I’m sure.” It’s publisher THQ that’s handling all the talk though, not the dev team. ”It’s really a THQ thing, but I know they are definitely talking to people and I would be surprised if some of that stuff didn’t happen.”
Darksiders is billed as a classic adventure-RPG, full of demons, angels and other big nasties - but they didn’t want a ‘Silent Hill’ approach, instead they opted for big armour, big weapons and huge bad guys with tons of comic-like action.
So far the critics are swooning with Vigil’s work, which is out the 8th in Europe.
