God of War III listed March 16th in US, UK date in "next few weeks"

US retailer Gamestop has the action-packed God of War III down for March 16th, as a result of some Sony corporate email sent in to them.

Sony Europe ”can’t comment” on happenings across the big Atlantic pond but say a UK release will be confirmed ”in the next few weeks.”

God of War III hits the PlayStation 3 March 25th in Japan. There’s a super awesome looking Collector’s Edition out for Kratos’ latest adventure, complete with Pandora’s Box. Sure it fetches an eye watering £110 in the UK, but that’s because it is badass.

“I can’t comment on the US date I’m afraid. We should be able to confirm a UK release date in the next few weeks,” a SCEE rep told VG247. Will you be getting it, videogamer?
