The studio site teases and jokes that more details on their Call of Duty shooter is ”coming soon or sooner” if they get more fresh employees.
”We are currently in production on a Call of Duty FPS game. More details coming soon or sooner if you pass our interview process and become an employee!” reads the main page of the Sledgehammer site, reports Eurogamer.
They moved into an office February 27th this year and now stock ”well over 50 developers” noted Schofield, but they’re definitely ”still hiring” new blood. The new studio was formed in late 2009 by Schofield and Michael Condrey, formerly of EA’s Visceral.
When it was first announced they’d be working with Call of Duty they said they would ”extend the franchise into the action-adventure genre”, though focus appears to have shifted back perhaps to first-person. We’ll just have to wait until they pad that roster.
