This all follows on from last year’s asset fire sale to Warner Bros. which cost $33m and saw iconic teams like Mortal Kombat change hands.
Midway said it realized $49 million from the transaction. It’s a sad event to see such a veteran videogames company go under. At least the IP survives and hopefully Warner has some big plans for it and maybe something at E3 for us?
