Already ‘The Sly Collection’ has been unveiled featuring PS2 Sly Cooper titles beefed up with HD, trophies, 3D and Move support. More to come.
”Santa Monica Studios had the brilliant idea to upgrade and improve God of War for PS3 with the God of War Collection that we released last year,” SCE Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida told IGN in an interview.
”There were a lot of positive reactions from consumers in doing that, and now we get a lot of suggestions for types of packs they’d like to see.” Already Capcom and Sega have been reviving their classics from the Mega Drive and arcade unit days for HD makeovers for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network - they’ve been selling rather well.
”So we are looking to continue to do these HD conversions,” he continued. All three Sly Cooper games are included in The Sly Collection, which is an awesome way for those who’ve never tried them out to enjoy these past gems from PS2’s golden days.
”We are looking into ways how we can deliver the PS2 library to PS3 consumers, but were are not ready to announce anything yet.” What HD Collection would you love next?
