Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot stated while speaking to investors on a conference call this afternoon that the new game will be released this year.
The publisher said it plans to pour more resources into the Assassin’s Creed franchise to make it even more profitable.
Guillemot did not say anything about the plotline of the new game, of whether it’ll remain with Ezio Auditore in Renaissance Italy, or if it’ll take place in a whole new setting.
