Eurogamer’s Tom Bramwell tweeted: ”I feel sorry for @TheRednerGroup today. We are blacklisted by @2KGames and it seems to be standard practice.”
So, did Jim Redner give 2K Games the opening they needed to scapegoat the blacklisting of reviewers who negatively reviewed Forever? Was Redner parroting on Twitter what was told to him by 2K Games, and mistakenly out of anger made it public? Or is Bramwell paranoid?
This entire fiasco is reminiscient of the Gerstmann/GameSpot/Kane & Lynch controversy of a few years ago.
Strategy Informer awarded Duke Nukem Forever a mild 7.0/10 review. You can read it here. Our feature story “Duking It Out on Twitter” covers the history of the controversy; you can read it here.
