Eurogamer blacklisted by 2K Games?

Things have gotten a little blacker over the reviews of Duke Nukem Forever. Despite 2K Games firing The Redner Group for their tweet threatening to punish reviewers who gave the game vitriolic reviews, Eurogamer is stating that they indeed have been ‘blacklisted’ for their scathing review of Forever by 2K Games.

Eurogamer’s Tom Bramwell tweeted: ”I feel sorry for @TheRednerGroup today. We are blacklisted by @2KGames and it seems to be standard practice.”

So, did Jim Redner give 2K Games the opening they needed to scapegoat the blacklisting of reviewers who negatively reviewed Forever? Was Redner parroting on Twitter what was told to him by 2K Games, and mistakenly out of anger made it public? Or is Bramwell paranoid?

This entire fiasco is reminiscient of the Gerstmann/GameSpot/Kane & Lynch controversy of a few years ago.
