Two in fact. First off ”some technical issues” have delayed the Skarlet character DLC, and second the prices are actually mistakes and are ”being rectified”.
”Unfortunately, due to some technical issues, the Mortal Kombat Skarlet DLC will not be available to PSN users in Europe until next week. We apologise for any inconvenience but assure fans that Skarlet and her fatalities are on the way,” said Warner Bros.
PS3 users are furious over the missing character DLC in Europe and at the grossly disproportionate pricing between the US and EU PlayStation Stores for the Klassic Skins pack released this week. Fortunately it would appear this was all a silly mistake.
”To clarify the posted price of the Classic Skins pack on PSN is incorrect and is currently being rectified to £3.19 for UK users and €3.99 for European users,” they said.
”All users will have access to the compatibility pack and free classic skins - Cyrax and Sektor - once Skarlet is available.” It looks like the brandishing of pitchforks and torches have sorted out a rather sorry state of PSN pricing; a victory for community outrage!
