PS3 users have been waiting for the PS Store to return, especially those needing it for 'online pass' codes. They conducted "further security verification".
Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity will return for all Sony platforms: PS3, PSP, VAIO and PC along with full functionality of Media Go. In-game commerce switches back on with the return of the PlayStation Store, so redeemable codes will work once more.
"We have been conducting additional testing and further security verification of our commerce functions in order to bring the PlayStation Network completely back online so that our fans can again enjoy the first class entertainment experience they have come to love," said Kazuo Hirai, executive deputy president, Sony Corporation.
"We appreciate the patience and support shown during this time." Meanwhile hacking group 'LulzSec' on Sony saying they're "making off with a bunch" of internal stuff and that Sony hasn't noticed yet. They claim to be behind the PBS site hack.
