The Inferno balance is also adjusting with Act II, III and IV sticking closer to Act I in difficulty. Repair costs for level 60s will skyrocket, while Blacksmith and Jeweller costs will plummet.
If you’ve spent a palace worth of gold on those gems and crafted pieces of gear then, well, consider it a learning experience. Blizzard acknowledges they were asking too much.
Whereas it currently costs 3 Flawless + 2000 gold + 1 Page to get a Perfect quality gem, the studio will be altering that to just 2 Flawless + 55 gold + 1 Page. Yes, that’s right - just 55 measly gold. Covetous Shen has really been sticking it to us all these weeks. No word yet on specific price drops for our equally high priced Blacksmith.
For Patch 1.0.3 ”class tuning is not a major focus” said Blizzard. They will be making some minor skills changes but they won’t be overhauling anything as right now they want costs and loot drop rates, as well as difficulty ramps adjusted.
