Aside from being a monster card, nVidia has also made it a point to also have a quiet, efficient card as well, without noisy, power consuming fans.
Another feature is something nVidia calls “GPU Boost”, which actually boosts clock speed when playing certain games, like Battlefield 3. Another feature shown off is one Desai describes as “TXAA”, which automatically removes jaggies without any sort of performance hit. The updated PhysX engine is also highlighted, with dynamic fracturing and advanced fur physics shown off.
According to official specs, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 offers 2048MB GDDR5 video memory and supports DirectX 11. Gamers can also take advantage of the dual SLI or 3-way SLI.
