The demo gives just a taste of the RPG brains in the full game, which won’t release until January. Across those 7 days we’ll get 8 allies and 10 areas to explore. It’s for backers and pre-orders.
The demo of Dead State shown at PAX was just the first two days which lasted 45 minutes to an hour, said Mitsoda. So we can expect a few hours of play from the demo.
Dead State has also gained a canine companion to help us in the nail-biting survivalist war of turn-based aggression against the zombie oppressors. Overall the RPG is said to last for days and there’s plenty of RPG veterancy from Brian Mitsoda alone who’s worked with Troika, Black Isle, and Obsidian.
Dead State was successfully funded on Kickstarter back in July 2012 with $332,635 from over 10k backers. The First 7 Days demo will also be available through Steam Early Access.
