Creative examine audio in Total War: Rome 2, from voice to music

Friends, Romans, PC gamers, lend me your ears. Creative Assembly’s new trailer for Total War: Rome 2 takes a behind-the-scenes look at the studio’s audio work for the upcoming Empire builder/smasher.

From the ”gravelly and authority-laden” voice works to the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra pounding out soundtracks, Creative ask to borrow your ears for 8-minutes.

Sherlock Holmes baddie Mark Strong from the 2009 feature film will be ”guiding players” early on in the game with his ”gravelly” voice, reveal the team.

”Catch him in action as the power-hungry General Silanus in this video short that also touches on the game’s incredible soundtrack; performed by the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Dark Knight and I am Legend veteran, Jeff Atmajian,” post Creative Assembly.
