505 Games, the video game publishing division of Italian company Digital Bros., have signed an agreement with Swedish company Starbreeze which commits them to a development partnership for the next 20 months.
In a press release yesterday, the two companies made the announcement. Valued at $6 million, the deal ensures a stream of downloadable content and updates for the franchise.
”We’re delighted to continue our co-operation with Starbreeze,” said Raphael Galante, CEO of Digital Brothers, ”The success of Pay Day 2 proved that the videogame market enables incredible potential, and in the meantime demonstrates the requirement for the publisher and the developer to constantly survey the market and an exceptional flexibility of both parties to be able to react to unpredictable and continuous changes in consumer demand.”
