Cringe worthy puns aside, the Community Patch that’s been ”driven by your feedback” is on its way to Codemasters’ GRID 2. Fans will get the original’s Demo Derby mode patched in for free.
They expect this brimming Community Patch to release sometime in August, and they’ve revealed a lot of its tweaks and features. They’ll give us a firm date closer to the time.
The studio has jotted down and begun working on a lot of what GRID 2 drivers have been clamouring for. This includes new playlists, and levels caps rising to 99.
The game will also now tell you your fastest lap times in the post race summary, and veto votes now require just 51% to affect a change. Country flags will return once again and appear next to player names, and you’ll even by able to mute your own microphone. Codemasters are also tweaking their anti-cheat system.
The lengthy proposed Community Patch changelog is available on the Codies Blog.
