Namco Bandai has dated Dark Souls II for PC in late April with the console versions releasing soon this month. The April 25th date came from a promotional artwork for the Dark Souls II: Collector Edition.
This promo originated in Southeast Asia, meaning it should arrive in North America and Europe from mid to late April. Namco Bandai is yet to confirm a PC release schedule for the West.
They did affirm that the promotional material was for Southeast Asia, and went suspiciously quiet with regards to the rest of the globe. Dark Souls II releases on console next week.
The limited edition shown in the artwork is apparently just for Southeast Asia regions including Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. Dark Souls II will be releasing on Steam for PC with visual fidelity much higher and a guaranteed 60 frames per second, boasts Namco. From Software has also worked on native keyboard and mouse support.
Dark Souls II releases on Xbox 360 and PS3 March 11th in the US, 14th in EU, and on PC in April.
