Veteran developer Clint Hocking, who directed the production of both Splinter Cell and Far Cry 2, has left Valve, according to his Linkedin profile.
Hocking, who previously worked at Ubisoft and Lucasarts, only joined Valve in July 2012, which makes his departure suprising. He was working on an unannounced project as a designer, according to his profile. IGN speculated that it might have been Left 4 Dead 3 after a designer database list was leaked from Valve.
There’s been no official statement as yet from either Valve or Hocking, we’ll keep you updated as soon as we know anything else.
