Other pre-order bonuses include a Rocket House, a mini-ship house decoration, a 10-slot storage bag and the chance to reserve character and guild names prior to launch.
WildStar is rather different from most MMOs because it tries to take a more action platform approach, whilst still offering more traditional mechanics you’d expect.
”We’re stoked to launch WildStar,” said Jeremy Gaffney, Executive Producer at Carbine Studios. “We’re looking forward to seeing the first players begin their journey on the unexplored planet of Nexus. Both noobs and MMO vets will have a blast with our fast-paced combat, while experienced guilds and groups will build complete battle-fortresses using our Warplot system and tackle some truly epic raids.”
”We’ve aimed for fun and unique content for MMO gamers of all stripes from level one to level cap and beyond. WildStar is a brand new IP and new universe that has attracted more than 1.4 million beta signups already, so it seems like other gamers are also eager for something new and different in the MMO space.”
Carbine uses very striking art with WildStar, and focus on the animations of the characters to appear fluid. Combat is also very skill orientated and not just left to firing off rotations like in traditional MMOs. There’s also a lot of actual platforming in the game for exploration, as well as player created content. WildStar is also focused on humorous antics.
A standard and deluxe edition will be on sale commencing next week from Wednesday, March 19th.
