Without wanting to go over the whole list again, let’s just say there’s been reports of a few performance issues with Assassin’s Creed: Unity since release day. Though it’s not exclusively confined to them, owners of AMD hardware in particular are having major problems.
Fortunately help might be on the way. In a post on the game’s official forums, Ubi’s community manager Justin Kruger has confirmed that the developers are looking into the issue. In a seperate blog post Ubisoft has listed a number of other priorities for the next update patch.
“We are aware that the graphics performance of Assassin’s Creed Unity on PC may be adversely affected by certain AMD CPU and GPU configurations,” Kruger writes, “This should not affect the vast majority of PC players, but rest assured that AMD and Ubisoft are continuing to work together closely to resolve the issue, and will provide more information as soon as it is available.”
There’s a list of support pages on the game’s Steam community page, and Ubisoft is encouraging anyone experiencing problems to get in touch.
Meanwhile Unity’s next update, on the way in the near future, will address a number of the most common bugs that players are experiencing, including:

Arno falling through the ground.
Game crashing when joining a co-op session.
Arno getting caught inside of hay carts.
Delay in reaching the main menu screen at game start.

Finally these are the other issues Ubisoft is currently concentrating on, which will be addressed in future updates.

Frame rate issues.
Graphical and collision issues.
