The Hong Kong Massacre trailer gets seriously bloody

If you're a fan of the gloriously violent "Heroic Bloodshed" movies of John Woo, then The Hong Kong Massacre might be just the thing for you. A top-down shooter with buckets of blood and bullets, the indie title from Vreski Games has just got a new trailer showing off its over the top action.

And yeah, if you're getting a Hotline Miami vibe you're not the only one. Despite the obvious influence though, this looks like it's more concerned with getting the gunplay right, and judging from the trailer Vreski are handling that side of things pretty well.

With this and Hotline Miami 2 in the works, it's certainly a good time for top-down indie violence. Well worth keeping an eye on.
