Dragon’s Teeth, the fourth DLC pack for Battlefield 4, drops today for Premium members, and the developer has posted a new launch trailer giving players some idea what to expect.
Namely lots of explosions, gimmicky level destruction and a bunch of new tools with which to maim your fellow man.
Looks like a decent mix of environments and varied level structure. Much is made of new map Sunken Dragon’s ‘Levelution’ (a fraction of my soul is consigned to oblivion every time I use that phrase), which lets you flood the whole zone by destroying key water towers and pipes. Elsewhere there’s the usual mix of open-lane areas encouraging vehicle assaults and urban hellholes designed for brutal close combat fighting.
I’m not much for these map packs, to be honest. Often I think they fall way short of approaching value for money, before you even mention the constant splitting of the player base. Still, if you’ve already got a Premium membership, looks like a decent slice of military chaos is on offer here.
As well as the maps - Lumphini Garden, Pearl Market, Propaganda, and Sunken Dragon- you’ll find five new weapons, the Deagle 44 pistol , Unica 6 revolver, CS5 sniper, MPX submachine gun and Bulldog assault rifle.
Dragon’s Teeth should download automatically today for Premium members, while everyone else will have to wait until July 29. At least by then people will have discovered all the lovely new bugs!
