The Resident Evil Remake is getting another remake, this time in glorious high definition. If you were wondering just how impressive the classic horror game would look with a layer of modern polish, wonder no further.
Over on the Capcom blog there’s a fancy photo slider which allows you to switch back and forth between the 2002 version (more specifically its Wii port) and the modern upgrade.
It’s looking rather sharp. The less fuzzy, more natural lighting really sells those dank Gothic environments. You can check out the fancy slider screens over on Capcom’s site, but I’ve added the boring normal versions below. We don’t know what platforms the upgraded screens were taken from, but it sure is nice to see the greatest horror game ever made get a nice makeover.
Resident Evil HD Remastered is due out in early 2015 on PC, last-gen and current-gen consoles.
