Bioware hosted a Dragon Age: Inquisition livestream session on Twitch yesterday, studying the game’s in-dpeth character customisation options. It’s pretty impressive.
No more glassy-eyed, ham-faced nightmares, now you can create a character that actually looks fairly human (or dwarven, elven or Qunari).

The new qunari race, including female qunari who we’ve never seen before, look very imposing. You can mess around with an impressively detailed customisation screen, which includes details right down to eyelashes, makeup and scars. I love all this stuff, so it’s good to see a far more extensive system here than the series has ever had before.
Be warned that although there’s no spoilers as such, it does give away a little bit of the game’s opening section. Host Mike Laidlaw does point out when they’re about to exit the creation screen and start playing, so look out for that.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is out this November on PC and consoles.
