We’ll see more of Star Wars: Battlefront’s dogfighting Fighter Squadron mode during EA’s Gamescom press conference tomorrow, but here’s a little glimpse to tide you over.
Set in the skies above the volcanic planet Sullust, this teaser video shows off some pretty cool-looking aerial skirmishes (there’s no zero-g combat, more’s the pity) between A-Wings, TIE Fighters, X-Wings and my personal favourite, the TIE Interceptor.
That’s a decent lineup to be going on with, though more starfighters might also be playable. Unfortunately EA DICE has already confirmed we won’t be able to pilot the rugged but terminally slow Y-Wing into battle.
Star Wars: Battlefront is set for release this November 17. Expect more info to drop as Gamescom grinds on this week.
