After that excellent trailer debuted yesterday, I was just in the right mood to sit down and watch some direct gameplay footage of Dark Souls 3.
And lo, the internet provides. Sixteen minutes of off-screen adventuring has been captured from the Gamescom show floor and posted by IGN, showing off some early-game exploration.
Again, it’s immediately apparent just how much has been picked up from PS4 hit Bloodborne; not only is Dark Souls 3 just a step or two faster than previous Souls games, but the animations and even to some extent the open environments bring Miyazaki’s Gothic master piece to mind.
Dark Souls 3 is set for release in early 2016, on PC and consoles.
