Blizzard has announced that it’s making three-mission prologue campaign Whispers of Oblivion, a lead-in to the upcoming Legacy of the Void expansion, available for Starcraft 2 owners to play for free.
Previously it was reserved as a pre-order bonus for players taking part in the Legacy of the Void Beta. Now you can jump in by installing a starter pack on Battle.net.
The change comes in Heart of the Swarm’s new 3.0 patch, which also introduces an entirely new UI for all versions of the sci-fi strategy game. There are a bunch of other fixes and tweaks, which you can check out in the full patch notes here should you wish.
Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void itself is set for release on November 10.
