Developer Ghost Games has promised that upcoming reboot Need for Speed - recently delayed on PC into 2016 - will contain no microtransactions, and that it has no plans for paid DLC.
”We plan to release a series of free content updates for Need for Speed. We currently have no plans for any paid DLC,” the studio wrote in a recent FAQ. ”There will be no micro transactions.”
The developer announced yesterday that the PC version of the game would be pushed back to next Spring, in order for the team to provide high-end visuals and an unlocked frame rate.
A schedule of free content is planned for Need for Speed, all of which will be included in the PC version when it’s ready to launch.
