Between their usual affairs and now handling most of Atlus' European commitments, Deep Silver are harder at work than ever. Their next project - with Warhorse Studios - is Kingdom Come: Deliverance; and it's coming early next year.
Pencilled in just before Valentine's Day next year, February 13 is day deliverance is delivered unto the Kingdom.
The release date news appears to have landed in conjunction with Deep Silver being announced as the game's publisher. There's no word how exactly the deal took place - nor the terms - but it goes to show that Deep Silver have a strange affixation on releasing something for potential lonely hearts around Valentine's Day.
The Last We Heard Of Kingdom Come: Deliverance Was a Delay Into 2017
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an open-world RPG set within the confines of the Holy Roman Empire. Like a good Batman game, you're sent out to avenge the death of your parents across villages, forests and the rest of medieval Bohemia. Expect to fight invading forces. There's no good medieval tale without conflict.
To celebrate the news, there's a new story trailer out to paint a finer picture. Any mention of open-world will have expectations rising after the rest of this year's offerings. Will 2018 catapult us forward, or pull us back? Either way; welcome to Uncanny Valley!
