Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is going to be released for the PC on 8th March, Fatshark announced today. There's plans for a console release too, but those versions will come a little bit later.
The Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Release Date announcement was made on a Live Stream via Twitch. There was gameplay footage included too, so if you missed it, it's well worth watching it here.
"Being passionate fans of the Warhammer IP, we’ve always wanted to create a Warhammer sequel that both stayed true to the beautifully dark atmosphere of the world but also brought new ideas and experiences for players. It's been years of work but on March 8th we look forward to joining forces with players everywhere to defend Helmgart from evil." Said Martin Wahlund, CEO of Fatshark.
The original, Warhammer End Times – Vermintide, managed to sell over 1 million copies, and it was a first person co-co-op game that we thoroughly enjoyed when it was released back in 2015. The sequel will feature 15 hero careers, new environments, talent trees and the new Heroic Deeds System.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will released on 8th March, 2018 for PC, but you can already pre-order it on Steam for £20.69.
