Pokémon-inspired MMO Temtem has proven to be quite a success for publisher Humble Bundle and developer Crema, selling 500,000 copies in the first month after hitting Steam Early Access.
Despite initial server issues, Temtem drew the attention of many gamers, managing to keep hold of several thousand concurrent players that are still tracking down new creatures and battling each other.
Temtem 500,000 Copies Sold
Developer Crema has kept supporting Temtem with multiple patches since its launch, ironing out the initial server-related kinks and, most recently, adding the Saipark which acts as a new end-game area.
Alongside announcing that Temtem has sold 500,000 copies worldwide, the developer also revealed that a roadmap “is being polished and on its way”.
Being the sole PC alternative to Pokémon has clearly worked out for Temtem, whose Steam reviews assigning it a “Very Positive” score, with 88% of reviews recommending the title.
Interesting facts, don't you think?
