Broadly speaking the developers at BioWare are ”interested in exploring” multiplayer in their future lineup, reveals Greg Zeschuk.
When probed if Mass Effect 2 could see some co-op action come release, fellow BioWare man Greg Zeschuk states they’ve yet to disclosed ”a feature set at this point.” Dun-dun-dun.
”…multiplayer is something that, at a broad level, BioWare is interested in exploring in our games in the future,” Ray Muzyka tells MTV Multiplayer.
The multiplayer component ”has to be central to the game to make sense. I think you see examples of games that have thrown in multiplayer modes that don’t make any sense and then you see games that are built from the ground up as co-op experiences,” adds Greg Zeschuk, noting Valve’s ”super fun” Left 4 Dead.
So, no confirmation there’ll be co-op action in Mass Effect 2 but no spit-in-your-eye denial either. Does blasting Geth with a buddy sound like your kind of Spectre justice?
