Both id’s Rage and Splash Damage’s Brink will be given their ”first ever public” demonstrations during this year’s QuakeCon which kicks off tomorrow.
The games will be there for public consumption, or at least live gameplay footage will be - no touching! Brink is up first this Friday, with Rage following on Saturday (presumably not on PS3).
Friday, August 14th: Brink
1:00pm - 2:00pm CDT - Main Stage
First Public Demonstration
”Previously shown only to media and behind closed doors, Splash Damage CEO and game director, Paul Wedgwood, will offer the first public, live gameplay demonstration of the highly anticipated first-person shooter from Bethesda Softworks and Splash Damage, Brink along with a Q&A,” blurbs the id Software press release.
Saturday, August 15th: RAGE
2:30pm - 3:00pm CDT - Main Stage
RAGE - First Public Demo
”RAGE creative director, Tim Willits, and lead designer, Matt Hooper, drop the top on id Software’s revolutionary new game RAGE, with the first ever public demonstration of live gameplay.” No Q&A? Seems that way.
Brink is a sci-fi shooter from Splash Damage and Bethesda, which takes places on a floating city called the Ark. RAGE is id software’s own sci-fi action title, combining races and first-person shooting. Looking forward to seeing more of these two, videogamer?
