PlayStation 3 exclusive Heavy Rain is the first generation game from developer Quantic Dream, they haven’t worked on the platform before so can do much better next time.
That’s what boss and founder David Cage declares when asked if Heavy Rain pushes the PS3 to its limit. There’s ”plenty of room” to improve with their ”second or third” gen games.
”Well, you need to keep in mind that Heavy Rain is our first title on PS3. It’s not the second or third generation of games on the same platform. We’ve just discovered the platform right now. So yeah, there’s plenty of room for improvement I’m sure,” Cage told VideoGamer.com.
”At Quantic Dream we know we can do much better than what we do here,” said the CEO man and founder of Quantic while at GamesCom. That means Heavy Rain is the developers low point for the platform, right? I’m sure that’s what he meant. Yeah.
