Ubi 'confirms authenticity' of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood art

Ezio is surrounded by other assassins in the placeholder art, likely representing the whole ‘brotherhood’ direction of this instalment.

”Live and breathe as Ezio, now a legendary master assassin, in his struggle against the Templar order. Lead your own brotherhood of Assassins and strike at the heart of the enemy. Rome,” reads the cover, reports Kotaku.

”And for the first time, take part in an innovative multiplayer layer allowing you to embody an assassin of your choosing and define their killing style.” It goes on to promise, ”A never-before-seen online multiplayer experience.”

”Lead your own brotherhood of assassins, as Ezio, and conquer Rome.” The box art also has a sticker for a pre-order promo, where you get an exclusive online character.

Ubisoft has now confirmed all this to be true. ”Ubisoft confirms the authenticity of this image and will provide more information next week,” they tell Kotaku. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood releases for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC sometime this year.
