FPS and RTS paired up in Warsoup

Moon Studios is developing the sci-fi flavoured Warsoup, and it’s a mix of first-person shooter and real-time strategy; it’s ‘Halo meets StarCraft’.

At least that’s how the studio explains their ‘hybrid’ creation. It uses minimalist visuals that are a bit cartoonish, with plenty of class-based upgrades.

You’ll be building up resources while shooting holes in people you don’t like, all accompanied by an upgrade mechanic that helps dynamically alter player abilties based on their class. Warsoup is releasing on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC reveals the trailer.
