Nintendo Wii claim Jan. 2010 sellling 465.8k in the US, 360 beats PS3

Once more the plucky motion centric Nintendo Wii has won the hardware sales battle, scoring 465.8k units sold last month in the US.

Its closest competitor? Nintendo DS at 422.2k. In HD land, the Xbox 360 triumphed over the PS3 with a comfortable margin - 332.8k to 276.9k.

Sony has just hailed 2009 as their ”best yet”, and Microsoft say last month is a ”great kick-off” to 2010. NPD always brings out the corporate chest beating…

So where are those US hardware sales numbers, NPD?

Wii – 465.8K

DS – 422.2K

Xbox 360 – 332.8K

PS3 – 276.9K

PSP – 100.1K

PS2 – 41.6K
