At 2nd place in the top ten software list is EA Sports’ Madden NFL 11, followed by Capcom’s Dead Rising 2. Modern Warfare 2 holds on 10th place.
The NPD will no longer be posting all their software and hardware data freely as they have been doing, so it’s up to platform holders to start spewing out the figures. Naturally Microsoft was elated to give out September’s performance thanks to Halo: Reach.

Halo: Reach gets its first ever DLC this November 20th in the form of the Noble Map Pack which includes new achievements worth 250 Gamerscore, and it costs 800 MSP. The downloadable content will include 3 new multiplayer maps.
