Capcom to release Dead Rising 2 prologue, exclusive for Xbox Live

Surprise! Capcom will release Dead Rising 2: Case Zero ahead of the full game but only for Xbox Live gamers, giving fans a taste of everything.

They also reveal co-op to feature in Dead Rising 2 as well. We play Chuck Greene in Case Zero, stuck in a desert town with his daughter.

It will “give fans the full experience” while it introduces us to Chuck Greene and the events leading up to the full game. Caught in the small town of Small Creek, Chuck and his daughter must face off against zombie hordes. It’s only for Xbox Live.

It takes place two years after Dead Rising’s Wilammete incident, and three years before Dead Rising 2 starts off. Co-op lets you invite a friend at any time to join in and massacre some zombie horde whenever you feel like it in the full game.

Dead Rising 2 releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC August 31st in the US.
