No surprise as Halo: Reach hits UK chart top, 5th largest launch

Bungie’s Halo: Reach conquers the UK all format chart as an Xbox 360 exclusive, and becomes Great Britain’s 5th largest ever release.

It has been Microsoft’s biggest ever title in the UK. It has sold over 20k more copies that Halo 3, and 200k more than ODST. Sports Champions 2nd.

Yes while Reach was repulsing a Covenant invasion, whilst simultaneously invading our living rooms, Sony’s PlayStation Move also launched last week. Its Sports Champions launch title landed itself 2nd place in the UK all format.

Other Moves titles Start the Party! and Ubi’s Racket Sports managed 29th and 32nd respectively. EA Sports’ NHL 11 entered 26th. Here’s the UK all format top 20 for the week ending September 18th:
