EA announces Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, to release this

The golfer Tiger Woods has already been defended by EA Sports boss Peter Moore, who said they signed him up because he’s the best.

What with all that ruckus over his personal life recently, Moore also declared they won’t be dropping him. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 is coming.

The new golf instalment in the Tiger Woods franchise will release on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and iPhone this summer. EA Sports also banged on about their Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online browser-based game. It works similar to DICE’s Battlefield: Heroes.

…except there’s golf and not some tongue-in-cheek WWII action going on. Customisation of PGA Tour Online through experience points will be the addiction EA hopes, much like it is for BF: Heroes. It will also integrate with Facebook pages for brags.
