God of War 3 is "35Gb of goodness", Europe release is "in low 40's"

Sony Santa Monica’s Tim Moss has revealed just how big the latest God of War is, saying ”thank heavens” for dual-layer Blu-ray discs.

Europe’s version will be even larger because of ”9+ languages”, bloating 35GB to around the ”low 40’s.” Kratos returns March 19th in Europe.

”35Gb of goodness. Thank heavens for Dual Layer Blu-Rays”, twittered studio tech head Moss, reports VG247, but that’s just for the North American release.

”Euro version is bigger, in low 40’s. 9+ languages,” he added. God of War III went gold over the weekend, meaning it’s off to the factory to make babies copies. It releases exclusively on PS3 March 16th in the US, and on the 19th in Europe. Gameplay below.
