BioWare will be ”releasing an update” March 4th, to prepare the game for the DLC. The team ”truly appreciate” the patience of PS3.
”Return to Ostagar for the PlayStation 3 has passed certification and will be released on March 11, 2010,” posted BioWare’s Victor Wachter, reports VG247.
”We will also be releasing an update for the PlayStation 3 version of Dragon Age a week ahead of time on March 4, 2010,” he continued. ”We truly appreciate our PlayStation 3 fans’ patience while they were awaiting this release.”
This latest DLC was plagued with issues leading to many delays for fans as unforeseen problems cropped up in the last few hours. BioWare has pledged to change their entire quality control processes at their studios to avoid this in the future.
Dragon Age: Awakening releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC March 16th in the US, and a little later for Europe, but can only be downloaded for PAL PS3 regions March 18th.
