It arrives before the new Warner Bros game of Mortal Kombat from NetherRealm, which releases April 19th. The actors will ”show off their gaming skill”.
The Machinima YouTube channel will be carrying the web series. Warner hope this will whip up excitement for the franchise as a whole, plus it can ‘test the waters’ for a movie.
It’s ”an anthology of multiple live action shorts, each providing never-before-revealed insights into characters featured in the upcoming videogame as well as the game’s universe,” say Warner. Mortal Kombat releases on Xbox 360 and PS3 April 19th.
