God of War 4 to have online multiplayer?

The rumored PlayStation 3 sequel God of War 4, which is purportedly coming around September 2012, will apparently have online multiplayer for the first time in the series.

According to the rumor section of Official PlayStation Magazine (UK): “Kratos is on his way back, with his next adventure set to feature multiplayer.”

This is the second time multiplayer for God of War 4 has been reported, when a job listing from Sony Santa Monica was looking for developers experienced in online multiplayer.
