PixelJunk Shooter 2 trying "for certification," it's a full sequel

Q-Games’ Matt Morton says they’re ”so close” to getting PixelJunk Shooter 2 out the door as it’s ”trying to go in for certification” right now. It’s no encore.

The sequel contains the same amount of goodness as the original, with more boss fights and PvP multiplayer. There’s an ”insane amount of power-ups”.

Sony ambushed Matt Morton at CES 2011 for an update on PixelJunk Shooter 2 where he started spilling the goods. Previously Q-Games have released ‘encore’ editions of fan favs but this is a full sequel release. Miners don’t rescue themselves you know!

PixelJunk Shooter 2 releases exclusively on PS3 sometime this year.
