Wesley Snipes behind videogame, Julius Styles: The International

Currently incarcerated for tax evasion, actor Wesley Snipes is gearing up for his ‘Julius Styles: The International’ film project for once he’s out in 2013.

In the meantime Snipes is pushing ahead with a videogame of his new character, which arrives for iPad and iPhone this June; XBLA and PSN later.

Julius Styles is part action and part puzzler which ”was inspired by my desire to bring my Art of War, Murder at 1600 and Passenger 57 characters into the game world,” said Snipes. ”Julius Styles will offer something for both the mind game strategist and the kick-ass special ops warrior lover.” Out June on iPad and iPhone before XBLA, PSN and Android.

”I love games that challenge my mind and reflexes,” continued the tax dodging movie star. ”Julius Styles pits your street knowledge survival skills with your academic intellect and spiritual intuition.” Lapland Studio is to develop Julius Styles: The International.

Lapland previously dipped their toe in the Wiiware pond and for this project they’re backed by film production companies Red 27 and Elstree Studio Productions. Wesley Snipes projected release from prison for his tax offences is sometime during 2013.
